INSIDE OF THE KILN Insulation appears to have been sprayed on the walls and roof. A number of technical magazines from the Research & Development can be seen dumped there.
AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE KILN A NUMBER OF THE BRICKS USED TO BLOCK UP THE FURNACE ARE EVIDENT. The Rylance branding shows they are old bricks reused.

An advertisement that probably wouldn't be considered appropriate in the current age.

According to a manual I found at Claypave, the brickworks had a Freymatic Cutter; though possibly an old model.
