Dinmore Brick Works

Aka: Dinmore Brick Co.; Brisbane Clay Products; Shannon Brick & Tile Co.; Rylance

“An eight-chain dead-end siding was laid for Dinmore Brickworks (possibly a re-conditioning of the Ebbw Vale No. 2 siding which fell out of use by 1911). This factory was taken over in 1935 by the Shannon Brick & Tile Company, which in turn was taken over in 1939 by Brisbane Clay Products. The rail siding was put out of use by late 1939, but was not removed until 1954, while the brickworks buildings were not demolished until the 1960s. ” (Kerr, J D, 1970).

The site was eventually taken over by Rylance.  I would be grateful for further information.
