PLEASE NOTE: The Queensland Trades Directory lists two Bundamba brick makers; “Worley & Whitehead Ipswich” and “Bundamba Brick & Tile Co., Bundamba”. I know little about the latter, though The Courier Mail 26th February, 1887 mentions the “Bundamba Clay & Coal Company” which was experimenting in the manufacture of cement.

The bricks below were presumably made at Bundamba, but which brickworks is still unclear.
Description: Smooth, white brick with tiny specks and black smudges. Condition: Type: House Brick or Kiln Brick. Frog: Shallow, rectangular, slightly-rounded frog with inscription. Large screw marks each end of frog. Inscription: “B” (broad, indented). Origin: Residence, Bergin St, Booval. Current Location: My Collection.
